I began training in the area of psychology and psychotherapy in 1994. I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy.  I am an accredited member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).  I have additional training and certificates in the areas listed below:

Continuing Professional Development

I attend ongoing training and professional development.  I review my work regularly with a more advanced practitioner.

All reputable governing bodies for counselling/psychotherapy (e.g. UKCP, BACP) recommend that therapists attend regular clinical supervision for their client work. The purpose of this practice is to support the therapist in working to the best of their ability and to provide the highest quality therapy.

My current clinical supervisor has considerable experience in the field of integrative psychotherapy, with specialist knowledge in coaching, trauma, stress in the workplace, organisational dynamics and extensive individual practice. She also leads reputable, accredited training, to Doctorate level in psychotherapy and in coaching.

Professional Codes I Adhere To

I am a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Membership No: 0515 7184.  I am also registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) in my capacity as the Professional Lead for Westminster NHS. I abide by the professional Codes and Ethics of both the UKCP and BACP.
